The organizing committee and the Metabolic Profiling Forum are pleased to invite you to Metabomeeting 2008, a two-day meeting on metabolic profiling to be held at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Lyon, France on 28-29th April 2008. The meeting is a European forum for practitioners from academia, government and industry interested in discussing the techniques and applications of metabolic profiling (metabolomics/metabonomics). It is intended to be a friendly and informal opportunity to present and discuss the latest developments in the field, and follows on from the highly successful meetings at the University of Cambridge, UK and Imperial College London.
Metabomeeting 2008 aims to bring together the many areas where metabolic profiling is currently applied. The meeting will foster both education and discussion of the core scientific principals underlying metabolic profiling and the important applications where it is now providing critical information.
The founding principal of the Metabomeeting series remains; that is to provide a platform for the discussion of the current practise of metabolic profiling from researchers at all levels, from all scientific sectors. To ensure this. the program for Metabomeeting 2008 includes a third of the talks chosen via contributions submitted from students and postdoctoral researchers. The opportunity is also provided to present a poster and this is open to all who wish to submit.
Registration
Registration for Metabomeeting 2008 is now open. The registration form can be accessed via the tab above. The conference fees for the meeting (which includes registration, the conference dinner, lunches and access to the poster session mixer) are:
Student / Postdoctoral researcher: £ 150
Academic: £ 250
Commercial: £ 350
The deadline for registration for Metabomeeting 2008 is 11th April 2008.
There will be no on-site registration.
Abstract Submissions
Submission of abstracts for consideration as platform presentations has now closed.
Abstracts for poster presentations can be submitted by clicking on the tab above to be redirected to the poster abstract submission form. The deadline for abstracts for posters is 28th March 2008.
All posters submitted from students and postdoctoral researchers will be entered into the poster competition.
