The Metabolic Profiling Forum is pleased to announce that Metabomeeting 2012 will be held at the Manchester Conference Centre, Manchester, UK from September 25-27^th 2012.

The conference centre is located within the University of Manchester campus, close to major transport links and one of the most cosmopolitan centres in the UK. The meeting is the seventh of the Metabomeeting conferences and continues the series of highly successful events held across Europe since 2005. The program will focus on the increasingly diverse range of applications as well as the latest developments to enhance the practise of the metabolomics.

The sessions at Metabomeeting 2012 will cover a range of topics including:

Analytical Advances in Metabolomics
Applied Metabolomics - Microbial
Applied Metabolomics - Plants
Applied Metabolomics - Animals
Applied Metabolomics - Human Health and Nutrition
Applied Metabolomics - Environmental
Student/Postdoctoral Session
Integration with Systems Biology

Platform Presentation

Metabomeeting 2012 will continue the opportunity set at previous meetings for attendees to present on their own work in the main sessions. For student and postdoctoral researchers there will be a specific session focusing on the latest work from the newest members of the continually growing metabolic profiling community. If you would like to take the opportunity to present your work then please submit an abstract for consideration via the button at the top of the page.

Submission of abstracts for platform presentation is now open. All abstracts need to be submitted before May 4th 2012.

Poster Presentation

Further to platform presentations, there will also be the opportunity for the presentation of your work via a poster. There will be poster sessions on both the Monday and Tuesday to provide all attendees the flexibility to view the variety of work currently ongoing within the diverse applications of metabolic profiling. If you wish present your work as a poster at the meeting then please submit an abstract via the button at the top of the page.

Submission of abstracts for poster presentation has now opened. All abstracts for poster presentation must be submitted before August 10th 2012.

Registration Information

To register for the meeting please use the registration form, accessed via the button at the top of the page. The conference fees include the registration fee, the conference meal and lunches at the meeting. The early bird rate applies to all registations before May 4^th2012. After this date the full conference fee will apply. The conference fees for the meeting are:

Academic Conference fee	£280.00 (exc VAT)	£400.00 (exc VAT)

Charitable and governmental organisations qualify for the academic rate. All organisations that have a commercial function do not qualify for a reduced conference rate.
